HISTORY OF KANZASHI FLOWER

Kanzashi are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. Some believe they may also have been used for defence in an emergency. In the English-speaking world, the term "kanzashi" is sometimes applied to the folded cloth flowers that traditionally adorned tsumami kanzashi, or to the technique used to make those flowers. HISTORY Kanzashi were first used in Japan during the Jōmon period. During that time, a single thin rod or stick was considered to have mystical powers which could ward off evil spirits, so people would wear them in their hair. This is also when some of the first predecessors of the modern Japanese hair comb began to appear. During the Nara period, a variety of Chinese cultural aspects and items were brought to Japan, including zan (written with the same Chinese character as kanzashi) and other hair ornaments. CROWN HEADBAND

I like to show all of u my handmade crown headband. first time i made this when I was pregnant owen. when I was experimenting with all my materials, i suddenly making a crown pattern. so make it into headband. thanks God this headband received a good reception in the market. This headband not using batik fabric, but next time i want try to make it using batik fabric. of course i will show u all when i already make it.

One of my handmade batik necklace and clip

This is one of my creation, combination batik fabric, sifon and some crystal beads. actually i just learn how to make flower from fabric material. when i combine in one mix line, i found out it look very nice. so i try to make it into necklace first, after that i try to make it into hair clip....love it so much when it finish. I make the necklace and the clip with the same batik and satin fabric. It will look really nice if you wear both of them...:) you know this one is my favorit, because you can wear it with some simple color tshirt or dress. love it so much. if you interest to make some like this or you want to order one, you can make a comment in my blog... about the hairclip, i made it using clip made in korea. why i use korea clip?
